Qualified Guides of the Nova Scotian Guides Service will be awarding qualifying anglers the title of Osprey. The Osprey is Nova Scotia's Provincial Bird and is renowned as a skilled fisher.

Anglers qualifying for this award receive a certificate indicating that they have caught one of the largest of its species within Nova Scotia. Ospreys will have the memory of their catch and a beautiful, suitable-for-framing certificate to display in their home or office.

Qualified Guides are insured, trained in first-aid and hold Nova Scotia Guide Licences.

Qualifying fish are in the top 1% of their species based on Provincial record data and the knowledge base of NSGS guides.
